BOOK REVIEW: The Art Garden

BOOK REVIEW: The Art Garden

As someone who believes wholeheartedly in the importance of creativity (my upcoming picture book, Cloud Conductor, is about this very topic!) I always love to read and review books which focus on the power of the imagination. This week, I had the chance to take a look at The Art Garden, written by Penny Harrison and illustrated by Penelope Pratley.

The Art Garden, published by EK Books, is a story about individuality, being true to yourself, and how creativity can be expressed in many different forms. I also love that the picture book showcases how the natural world ties in to this. Other themes include friendship, patience, and perseverance.
