On Saturday 30 June, during the school holidays, I'll be at one of the best bookshops in Brisbane, Riverbend Books in Bulimba, for a Storytime and Craft session with young children. I'll be available for signings, too, which is always fun for a children’s author in Queensland, Australia, and beyond! We love to encourage a love of reading and stories in little ones, after all. I love being a freelance children’s author for hire who also gets to create my own books and then share them with the world, so having the chance to present at Riverbend is very exciting. There’s nothing quite like developing a children’s book idea, writing it, submitting it to publishers, editing it, and then finally having it out in the world to read to children.
