As a professional children’s author in Queensland who enjoys presenting in Brisbane, on the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, and anywhere else in the state and beyond, I was beyond thrilled to be asked to present at this year’s Brisbane Writers’ Festival.
I will conduct three “What IS a Book?” sessions for primary school sessions. I will also participate in a fun “Story Battle” session with one another author and two illustrators, where we’ll be in teams and using audience prompts to come up with illustrated stories on the spot, in just 3 minutes! Gulp! Should be fun, though. :)
It’s always so much fun as a children’s author in Australia to present at literary festivals, schools, early learning centres, and the like, so I can’t wait to be a part of this wonderful event.
